On Sunday, Feb 24th, Zhenjiang Municipal Secretary, Zhang Weiguo, in Nanjing Hilton International Grand Hotel, met with Mr. Billkel, vice president of the U.S. Walma Corp. and Mr. Steven, vice sales manager of the U.S. APEX Corp. and their party, who came to our city for a visit and exploration.

On Feb 28th, the citywide propaganda work meeting was held. The meeting called for all the comrades, who are fighting in the forefronts of ideological propaganda of our city, center on the overall situation, fight strenuously and raise the enthusiasms of the citizens for realizing stride developments of Zhenjiang.
Also on Feb 28th, our reporter got the news from the citywide Gardening work meeting, i.e. our city, will, on the basis of the last year, devote major efforts to improving the living surroundings by adding another forestation of 600,000 square meter.
