On the morning of August 25th, Monday, the acting mayor Xu Jinrong and the vice mayor Xu Guoping came to the improved Zhonghua Road and Linyin Road to check the sanitary conditions and supervised the relevant work on the spot.
On the morning of August 26th, Tuesday, ten thousand office workers went to the streets to clean the city-their home. The Party Secretary Shi Heping joined their ranks with broom and rag, too.
Also on the morning of August 26th, Tuesday, the acting mayor Xu Jinrong and Jiang Licheng, member of the Standing Committee with the Municipal Party Committee and vice standing mayor made simulated check on the sanitary conditions of residential areas in Runzhou District.
On the evening of August 26th, Tuesday, the third report meeting on the simulated checks of building the National Sanitary City was held in our city. The Party Secretary Shi Heping demanded the whole city have confidence in the success and spare no effort to speed up so as to ensure our successs. The city leaders Wu Shunan, Guo Lirong, Sun Yanli, Jiang Licheng, Daiyuan, Li Guozhong, Huang Baorong and Xu Guoping attended the meeting.
On the evening of August 26th, Tuesday, the city leaders Xu Jinrong, Zhang Qingsheng, Xu Guoping cordially met with the Party and government delegation from Shaoguan, Guangdong headed by the Party Secretary Tan Weidong in the International Hotel.
On August 28th, Thursday, the first production line of medium-and-high-density fibreboards in China was completed and put to production in the development area of Danyang, which was also the largest scale line in Asia. The vice Minister of Agriculture Liu Jian, the vice governor of Jiangsu Zhang Weiguo, the Party Secretary Shi Heping and the acting mayor Xu Jinrong cut the ribbon for the ceremony. The city leaders Li Guozhong, Hu Zhixian, leader of the State Forestry Bureau Sun Jian leader of Chinese Forestry Industry Association Zhang Senlic attended the ceremony.
On the afternoon of August 28th, Thursday, the vice Secretary of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection Chen Shaoze came to our city for investigation and research on the work of building an honest and clean Party and anti-corruption in our city. Guo Lirong, vice Party Secretary and Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection reported the relevant work in the recent few years to him.
On the morning of August 29th, Friday, the fifth Standing Committee with the Municipal People’s Congress held the seventh Chairmen’s meeting. The vice Chairman of the Standing Committee Wu Shunan presided over the meeting. The vice chairmen including Shao Zhenyu, Hu Zhixian, Lu Chaoyin, Li Zhuangyun, Zheng Hongzhang, Bian Daqing, Chen Su and the secretary-general Cai Wenjun attended the meeting. The vice mayor Huang Baorong attended it as an observer.
