On Sunday, Aug 3rd, Vice Provincial Party Secretary Feng Mingang accompanied by city leaders Shi Heping, Xu Jinrong, Wu Shunan, Zheng Qingsheng, Li Guozhong, Huang Baorong and Xu Guoping, inspected our city¡¯s Industries, key projects of urban construction, Party building work and Dantu New City.
The examination & appraising meeting for the design of the plan of Zhenjiang & TV Center was held on Aug 3rd. After being notarized on the spot by the Municipal Notarization Office, 4 plans were selected by experts through casting votes. Vice-mayor Huang Baorong inspected the appraising site and saluted the experts & staff members.
On the afternoon of Aug 4th, Acting Mayor Xu Jinrong met in the International Hotel with the 5 high-level managerial personnel of the Alvin-Mechi Company, headed by Randi-Spoling, vice-president of the business section of light vehicles and chief inspector of the Human Resources Department, and John Weilenburg, inspector general of the Asian-Pacific Region of Alvin-Mechi Company.
On Tuesday, Aug 5th, Vice Party Secretary Zhang Qingsheng called for the broad cadres and workers of the Industries of the whole city to carry forward the theme of talking the lead in speeding up development and striving to be the rise star in the South Jiangsu Region, make vigorous efforts, so as to ensure the fulfillment of the targets of the Industrial economics through out the year. He made these remarks at the promotion meeting on the Industrial economics of the whole city. City leader Cheng Su, Li Maochuan and Zhang Keming attended the meeting.
On the morning of Aug 6th, Acting Mayor Xu Jinrong and Vice Mayor Huang Baorong specially listened to the reports on the outline of the Urban Construction in 2004 and collecting international offers of the outline & design plan of the center part of the Nanxu Road New City.
On the morning of Aug 7th, the Municipal Party Committee held the meeting on the conditions of the veteran cadres of the whole city, solicit opinions and advice, so as to further improve the work and promote development. Party Secretary Shi Heping gave an important speech. Acting Mayor Xu Jinrong, Vice Party Secretary Wu Shunan participates at the meeting.
On the morning of Aug 8th, the public lecture on studying & carrying out the important thinking of Three Represents was held in Yiquan Hotel. Vice Party Secretary Wu Shunan presided over the meeting. Party Secretary Shi Heping made a mobilization speech. Acting Mayor Xu Jinrong, Vice Party Secretary Guo Lirong, Vice Party Secretary Zheng Qingsheng, standing member of the Party Committee, Secretary General Li Guozhong, together with the leaders of the four sets of leading groups of the city attended the meeting.
