| Foreign Friends Celebrate Women | On the afternoon of March 4th, a happy ambience brimmed over in a warm room. As the specially-invited guests invited by Zhenjiang Foreign Experts Bureau，some foreign female experts working in Zhenjiang from America, Japan, Spain, Philippines and Singapore took part in the Good Housewives Party held by Zhenjiang Women's Federation and Zhenjiang Foreign Experts Bureau to celebrate Women's Day.
It is the first time for the most of the specially-invited guests to celebrate Women's Day, belonging to themselves with Chinese women. At the very beginning of the party, the atmosphere was heated by a dancing Enjoying Spring Festival performed by a group of cute children from Jiajia Kindergarten. Later on, a hot dancing Take-off, a patter Presenting Red Flowers edited by the kindergarteners themselves and a game Counter-words brought the party to the climax continually. In a game Praising Husband, American Mrs. Lahrs explained an interesting meaning of HUSBAND, which made the whole audience burst into laughter. The most interesting scene happened in the game "Word-guessing Show". Divided into three different groups, all specially-invited guests competed with other Zhenjiang female guests at the same stage. Spanish Mrs. Cruz posing as an emcee, Mrs. Lahrs gesturing the high-heel shoes and Filipino Ms. Aileea acting as a bride, they used all kinds of the body languages they could use to express what the meanings of their acts were to the partners in a short time. The language was not the obstacle affecting their performance anymore and the different culture settings could not prevent them from understanding each other. With their exaggerated body acts, they won a blast of laughter, applause and, of course, the small gifts. At that time, the hearts not only of specially-invited guests, but of Zhenjiang female guests were linked tightly together.
After the party, the specially-invited guests came to Dongwu Kindergarten to make the dumplings, which was arranged specially by Zhenjiang FEB. Hearing Chinese old saying "The persons who eat the dumplings on Feb 8th in Chinese Lunar Year will never fall ill"，all of them started to make the dumplings interestedly with the expert dumpling makers' help. They got to grasp the skills after some small failure. Though their speed was slow, the dumplings they made stayed in good shape. Japanese Ms. Fukumoto made the dumplings skillfully because it was not her first time to make them. There are some differences between Japanese dumplings and Chinese dumplings, such as their shapes and folds, said she. Ms. Aileea took interested in how to make the wrappers. Under the expert instructions, she rolled a piece of wrapper herself with which she made a dumpling. She looked at it carefully as if she made a nice artwork. While Mrs. Lahrs was concerned about how to mix stuffing and eager to know the minced pork and the chopped greens are raw or cooked. After a while, their working fruits were serviced.
