| Italian and American Psychologists Work in Zhenjiang |
Invited by Zhenjiang Foreign Experts Bureau, on March 10 Miss Marrone, clinical pedagogist PHD of Italy, arrived in Zhenjiang to carry out her 2-week mission of Psychoanalysis about Behavior Disorder. From March 10 to March 23 Dr. Marrone made teamwork with Mrs. Lahrs, an America psychologist, to conduct technical exchange and guidance in some schools and other related organizations.
During their stay in Zhenjiang, they visited a lot of places and had detailed professional exchanges with professors of the Psychological Study Group about Behavior Disorders and staffs in the Women Federation. Dr. Marrone and Mrs. Lahrs also put forward some specific methods to check out and cure psychological problems aiming at various types of them to the teachers and parents in Dongwu Kindergarten and Hongqi Elementary School.
On March 16th, they gave a lecture on Psychological Study and Analysis of Behavior Disorders to more than one hundred kindergarten teachers in our city. The lecture catches the eyeball of more people in a broader range and widens our eyes with new information and advanced methods, especially some popular practices all over the world nowadays. We benefited a lot from them not only with psychological theory but also some practicable ways and valuable materials of how to carry out psychological study.
On the summarizing day of the two-week work in Zhenjiang, Dr. Marrone and Mrs. Lahrs tabled a proposal of helping children with behavior disorders through a joint effort and long time cooperation of teachers, parents and society.
